What Is A CAN?

Computer Advisory Notifications (also known as CANs) are brief overviews of newly-discovered hacker activity, viruses, security loopholes, software bugs, and other computing threats which can cause major damage and/or availability problems to your computer systems, your data, and/or your business. CANs are periodically issued to detail threats which are major/critical in nature and/or encountered frequently enough as to be deemed "widespread."

Please consider all CANs to be important enough to take immediate action to protect your computer systems and your data.

CANs are issued as a free service of Logical Operators. Previously-issued CANs and CANs e-mail newsletters are archived on this web site and may be viewed at any time.

Why Did I Receive A Link To A CAN In An E-mail?

If you received a link to a CAN via an e-mail, it was probably because:
