- It's Time For A
CharlestonWaterfrontNow.org! (6/29/2005)
- Over the past 2 or 3 decades, progressive cities all
across America have revitalized their economies and recreational venues
by renovating forgotten riverfront areas into modern waterfronts,
attracting new businesses and residents. When our hometown of Charleston
WV recently began looking into the possibilities of developing a
waterfront area to boost tourism and shopping, we realized that our
city's business leaders and citizens had a treasure trove of ideas on
the subject, but no ongoing forum in which to discuss the best course of
action.
-
-
Since
we prove our value every day by using technology to solve problems, we
developed
www.CharlestonWaterfrontNow.org - "THE official web site to discover
and discuss what's going on with the Charleston Waterfront Now!" With
proposed designs, copies of media coverage, public discussion forums,
decision-maker contact links, and blog contributions by Susan Johnson (a
local designer who has been a driving force in support of the
waterfront), this web site is a must-see for everyone interested in the
future of the Charleston area. Stop by, login, and let the city of
Charleston know what you want to see on the Charleston waterfront -
we're available 24/7!
