On the Distances/Internal Use/Comments/Followup tab (displayed above), you can specify distances from the septic tank and/or absorption field to the nearest building foundation, property line, or water supply. The Internal Use section records important dates in the application process and allows you to specify the latitude/longitude coordinates of the property. At a glance, you can easily determine if a permit was issued and the permit number assigned, as well as determine if additional followup is needed. Generous commenting capabilities allow you to enter public comments (which will print on forms) or private comments (which will remain only in the software).

Also, note that the latitude/longitude coordinates of the site can be stored with the other data, allowing for use of Global Positioning System (GPS) data. The Draw Map button allows a map of the location to be generated on your computer screen whenever you are connected to the Internet.
